Overview
On May 21, 1924, two wealthy Chicago teenagers attempted to commit a terrible crime just for the thrill of it. Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb kidnapped 14-year-old Bobby Franks, beat him to death, and dumped his body nearby. Although Leopold and Loeb thought their plan was very well thought out, they made many of mistakes that led police to them. The trial featured the famous attorney Clarence Darrow, and was often referred to as "the trial of the century."
